Michael Borowski
Michael received piano lessons as a young boy and his dreams of becoming a professional pianist became more solidified over time. "...Seeing George Winston live at the Academy Of Music with my mom when I was a young boy solidified that dream for me." From that point on, the pathway to the present was, of course, not always a straight line. "I studied Suzuki piano...until I graduated high school with Glorianna Sewell of Milford Square Music Studios. I went on to study music composition and piano performance at Temple University in Philly with Dr. Maurice Wright (composition) and Dr. Charles Abramovic (piano)... in college I started playing with various bands...becoming attracted to 'Jam Bands' and I became sought after as a piano player for studio work. I've performed and recorded with countless bands and artists [and] performed steadily with the Grateful Dead tribute band, Splintered Sunlight since 2001. I only recently started branching off into solo piano work, which was always my first true love."

Fast forward to 2005 when Craig started paying tribute to his mentor with the presentation of the Eric Clapton Retrospective. Craig's purpose is to present the music of Eric Clapton, dating back to the Yardbirds period and up to present day, not note-for-note but capturing the style, sounds and tones as heard through the years with the band's own unique flavoring.

Johnny A.
Lots of folks throw around the phrase "let the music do the talking," but only a few have the fortitude to really do it - to just go out there and play, shunning flash, shrugging off image and reeling in the listener on the strength of the songs alone. Johnny A. is that kind of performer. For the better part of three decades, the Massachusetts-based guitarist and bandleader has proven himself capable of generating heat at venues from working-class bars to international amphitheaters - and every sort of venue in between. And when the house lights are turned up, he's just as adept at captivating serious students of the six-string with a virtuosity that earned him the rare honor of having his name placed on a signature Gibson guitar.

Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras
Unlike many of his fellow Bravolebrities who have dabbled in music, resident "Vanderpump Rules" showman Tom Sandoval can actually sing. The 38-year-old puts his pipes to use while performing with his new nine-piece cover band, Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras, at venues like Hollywood's Hotel Café.

His passion for singing and his hope for a fair shot in the industry despite his reality TV notoriety are what fuels him. His latest project feels "more authentic than anything I've ever done," he said, as it allows him to indulge in his penchant for all things retro. "Everybody benefits from a band like ours," he said. "People are going to come, they're going to be able to jam out and they know the words to these songs. They've been listening to them for years and years. It's fun in that way. People don't have to get to know your music, which takes off a bit of the pressure I've felt in my other bands."

Steve Forbert's folk rock career has spanned four decades and counting. His combination of musicianship and authenticity demands notice. From 1978 to 1982, Forbert released four acclaimed albums. Rolling Stone contributing editor David Wild wrote that now or then, you would be hard pressed to find a debut effort that was simultaneously as fresh and accomplished as Alive on Arrival . . . it was like a great first novel by a young author who somehow managed to split the difference between Mark Twain and J.D. Salinger.' Forbert's second studio release had his Billboard #11 hit Romeo's Tune. Recording success vaulted Steve onto a broader musical stage, touring the U.S. and Europe many times over. His artistic pursuit has resulted in twenty studio albums and numerous live releases, compilations, and accolades. His songs have been recorded by Keith Urban, Rosanne Cash and Marty Stuart. Excelling in every decade of his career, Forbert exemplifies the best of the troubadour tradition.

Spyro Gyra (3 PM)
October 2019 witnessed the release of Spyro Gyra's first album of new material in six years. Once again, they have upset expectations by recording an album of all cover songs. In a nod to drawing heavily from their earlier pop and rock influences, Vinyl Tap. Be prepared for some surprises, like a Latin big band approach to Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love". Spyro Gyra is an unlikely story of a group with humble beginnings in Buffalo, NY who has continued to reach an international audience over forty years, resulting in sales of over 10 million albums and having played over five thousand shows on five continents. They have accomplished this due to a forward looking approach combined with the work ethic of an underdog, always challenging themselves to do something new while never resting on past success. It has proven to be a recipe for longevity for this jazz group while music has gone in and out of styles in ever shorter cycles.

Since forming nearly 50 years ago, The Seldom Scene has brought both freewheeling joy and immaculate musicianship to their inventive take on bluegrass, offering up spirited interpretations of songs from limitless genres. On their new album Changes, the band sharpens their focus to a highly specific body of work: songs first recorded in the 1960s and very early '70s, rooted in the archetypal storytelling of classic singer-songwriters. And in taking on the music of iconic artists like Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt, The Seldom Scene perform a sort of subtle magic: transforming the most stripped-bare songs into harmony-rich and elaborately arranged compositions, while wholly sustaining the charmed simplicity of each piece.

For Lee Ritenour, there aren't many 'firsts' left to achieve. During his dazzling five-decade career, the fabled LA guitarist has taken his music to the outer limits, alighting on every genre and occupying every position in the rock 'n' roll firmament. He's been an enfant terrible of '70s fusion, a crossover star of the '80s pop chart, an honorary exponent of Brazilian jazz, and the fingers behind '90s supergroup, Fourplay. Since Webb's Grammy sweep in 1968 when his own "Up, Up and Away" and "By the Time I Get to Phoenix" vied for Song of the Year (and "Up" won) to the use of his "Do What You Gotta Do" in Kanye West's "Famous," the man often praised as "America's Songwriter" remains an icon in popular music - and continues to challenge his artistic boundaries with projects like a classical nocturne. His most famous songs are touchstones for a generation yet remain timeless - "MacArthur Park," "Wichita Lineman," "Worst That Could Happen." Now in his touring show "An Evening with Jimmy Webb"and his literary memoir, THE CAKE AND THE RAIN (St. Martin's Press; now in paperback and audiobook) Webb brings fans of his music a unique connection to their favorite songs, revealing the stories behind his hits as far back as his first songwriting job at Motown through a career trajectory that took a teen preacher's son from a farm town in Oklahoma to the top of his longed-for profession, with pitfalls and blessings in equal measure between.

ProgJect - The Ultimate Prog Rock Experience
After a last-minute rescue call to tour with the premier Genesis tribute-band The Musical Box, drummer Jonathan Mover returned home waxing nostalgic: "I haven't had that much fun onstage in a long time and was reminded of the reason I began drumming in the first place-Prog Rock. Playing songs like 'Robbery, Assault and Battery', 'Dance on A Volcano', 'Wot Gorilla', 'Watcher of The Skies' and 'Back In NYC' had me feeling fifteen again and relit the very same fire I felt when I first picked up sticks." Next thought, "What if I put together 'The Ultimate Prog Rock Experience', with top players, and pay homage to our favorite Prog giants-Genesis, Yes, ELP and King Crimson, along with some Pink Floyd, Rush, Peter Gabriel, U.K., Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant and more..." The seeds were sown. With a two-plus hour set that includes Prog classics and epics such as, "Squonk", "Cinema Show", "Firth of Fifth", "Karn Evil 9 - 1st Impression Pt. I & II", "Siberian Khatru", "Roundabout", "Heart of the Sunrise", "21st Century Schizoid Man", "Lark's Tongues In Aspic", "Xanadu", "La Villa Strangiato", "Have A Cigar", "Wish You Were Here", "Solsbury Hill", "Living In The Past" and more... Crack The Sky
In 1976 Rolling Stone called prog-rock pioneers Crack The Sky "one of year's most impressive debuts." Today, 40+ years later, the band releases a new studio album entitled Tribes, due out early 2021. Named by Rolling Stone in their 2015 list of 50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums Of All Time and in Twenty 1970's Albums Rolling Stone Loved That You Never Heard, the magazine's review likened Crack The Sky to Steely Dan, 10cc, the Tubes, and said writer/lead singer/guitarist/keyboardist John Palumbo avoids conventional melodies, preferring to repeat a tuneful phrase and then abruptly break the mood he's established with something nearly opposite in spirit. "Crack The Sky's ensemble singing and playing are impeccable. Palumbo's lead vocals are chameleonlike, resembling Ian Hunter's and Bowie's."

Leo Kottke
Acoustic guitarist Leo Kottke was raised in 12 different states and absorbed a variety of musical influences as a child, flirting with both violin and trombone, before abandoning Stravinsky for the guitar at age 11. He issued his 1968 recording debut LP Twelve String Blues, recorded on a Viking quarter-inch tape recorder, for the Scholar's tiny Oblivion label. After sending tapes to guitarist John Fahey, Kottke was signed to Fahey's Takoma label, releasing what has come to be called the Armadillo record. Fahey and his manager Denny Bruce soon secured a production deal for Kottke with Capitol Records. Kottke's 1971 major-label debut, "Mudlark," positioned him somewhat uneasily in the singer/songwriter vein, despite his own wishes to remain an instrumental performer. Kottke flourished during his tenure on Capitol, as records like 1972's "Greenhouse" and 1973's live "My Feet Are Smiling" and "Ice Water" found him branching out with guest musicians and honing his guitar technique. With 1975's Chewing Pine, Kottke reached the U.S. Top 30 for the second time; he also gained an international following thanks to his continuing tours in Europe and Australia. His collaboration with Phish bassist Mike Gordon, "Clone," caught audiences' attention in 2002. Kottke has been awarded two Grammy nominations.
