Tonia Sabatini was raised in Philadelphia and has been a resident of Bucks County for over 35 years. Her photos comprise a wide spectrum of images from her travel photography at home to countries in Europe, the Middle East, China, and Japan shooting scenes of nature, still life, architecture, and people. She captures her images with both her pocket size HP digital and full size Nikon DSLR cameras.


Tonia received her Associates of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Bucks County Community College, where she was introduced to many art forms and mediums that enhanced her creativity and eye for photography. She experiments with Photoshop and is continually learning the art of photography.


Tonia’s accomplishments include the jacket design for the book, Children of Cambodia’s Killing Fields, by Dith Pran and the jacket photograph of author, Don DePaul, for his novel, Caterfly. The James A. Michener’s Art Museum’s Senior Artists Initiative Art Exchange Program accepted her photo, Aqueduct, for public viewing and can be seen at Family Service Assn in Langhorne. Tonia has received awards from Honorable Mention to First Place to Best of Show to the Chairmen’s Award in photo contests. Her photos have been published in several books by the International Library of Photography where they can be viewed at www.ephotograph.com.


In 2008, Tonia was part of a three women art exhibition at the Historic Langhorne Association’s Museum and Library in Langhorne, PA where she displayed her photos of Japan. Tonia participated in Gallery 125 Art Fall Show and is presently exhibiting photos at Gallery 125’s Conflict Show. (www.trenton-downtown.com/gallery125)


Tonia is an active member of the Langhorne Council for the Arts, The Langhorne Artists-at-the-Farm where she has a studio, and the Arts and Cultural Council of Bucks County.
